1. TEAMS Design
Teams Design was founded in 1956. With a staff of 25, Teams Design is now one of the largest design agencies in Germany. It has received well over 900 national and international design awards for the products it has developed. Teams Design ranked second several times in the Top Ten international design teams.
Numerous Silit products have been designed by Teams Design. The most successful are the Silit 2000 cookware line and the Sicomatic®-E pressure cooker. In 2005 The Red Dot design prize was awarded to two Silit products by Design Zentrum in North-Rhine Westphalia.
2. Metz & Kindler Product Design
This company specialises in kitchen, household and public design as well as working in the areas of transportation, medical technology and interior architecture. They have won diverse awards over the past years such as Product of the Year, Designqualität and Design Plus.
3. Liora Reich
Liora was born in Israel in 1963. She studied at the Parsons School of Design in New York and completed her studies of graphic design with honours in 1989 at the Betzalel Academy in Jerusalem. Afterwards she worked for Arieli Advertising a large advertising agency in Tel Aviv. Then she opened up her own design studio developing mostly product packaging for foodstuffs. Her work won her several prizes and awards. In 1993 she moved to Milan where she completed advanced training in industrial design at the Domus Academy. After completing the course she worked as a freelance designer for MH Way. In collaboration with Makio Hasuike she gives lectures at the Domus Academy in Milan and the Betzalel Academy in Jerusalem.
